Artworks will be continuing its free, self-guided Studio Tour on November 5-6, 2011, 10am-5pm, rain or shine. Participating on the tour this year are some 50 artists in Chestertown and throughout Kent County and parts of Queen Anne’s County who work in a full range of
art and craft including painting, photography, sculpture, metal work, pottery, fiber, woodcraft, jewelry, furniture, glass and more. Examples of each participant’s work will be on display at Artworks Gallery, 306 Park Row, providing a chance to plan an itinerary that makes the most of your time and takes you to the artists that most interest you. Artworks is known for its festive atmosphere on First Friday so stop by to plan your weekend tour. Regular gallery hours are Wednesday through Friday, noon-3. During the Studio Tour hours will be extended this
weekend with Saturday hours being 9-5 and Sunday hours 10-5. To follow the Studio Tour route pick up a brochure at Artworks, or at restaurants and shops
throughout Kent County. These brochures provide a brief description of each artist along with directions to the studio which can be located on a fold-out map. Full information about the Studio Tour including route maps is also available on Artworks website, www.artworkschestertown.org.
