Fiber art, oils, watercolors, mixed media, pastels, photography, sculpture and perhaps even performance art will be on view for downtown Chestertown’s March First Friday. The Kent County Public Library suggests you start your evening with them, (ample parking space !) and work your way through town from there. The Artists’ Gallery Featuring artists Donna Winterling – new landscape works in watercolor and oil, and Mary Graham – oil still life and landscapes. 239 High St
Artworks Their Annual Fiber Show returns with a new and beautiful selection of fiber art from weaving and knitting, silk paintings, and handcrafted paper to artistry with needle and thread. 306 Park Row
Chestertown Arts League New show themed, “Spring is in the Air.” Artists in all forms of media, from paint, pastel and mixed media to sculpture, graphite and photography will be displaying their creations. 312 Cannon St
Garfield Center for the Arts at the Prince Theatre Reconciliation Redux & Auditions for Youth
Xpression. Stop by the Kohl Lobby for their open house reconciliation celebration and step up to the balcony tocheck out the auditions taking place in the theatre for a youth open mic session later in the month. 210 High St.
Kent County Public Library March exhibit features art from Kent School students, For All Seasons clientele,(printmaking and sculpture), local artists Lauryn Cunningham, (oils and watercolors), and Pat Alberico, (watercolors).
