Chestertown Town Councilman Sam Shoge announced the posting of the town’s new website during the last town council meeting onTuesday, January 20th. Designed by Francois Sullivan at Worton’s Moo Productions, the site is a complete rebuilding of Chestertown’s presence on the Internet.
Its simple and elegant design offers an extensive array of informational portals including business listings, a town event calendar, a residents section profiling Chestertown’s many services and attractions, a comprehensive list of all government services, and even a fun virtual drive through town via Google maps.
Sullivan was chosen out of 21 submissions to create a newly designed, robustly configured and easily navigated site to replace the old one. She already designed many Chestertown websites, including Sultana Education Foundation, Garfield Center, Massoni Art, DCA, Kent County Humane Society and Kent County Arts Council, to name a few.

The picture of geese on the water inappropriately identifice them as “Canadian geese” — actually, they are Canada geese.
Francoise Sullivan says
Thank you Bill! The caption has been corrected!
Billie Beck says
Don’t think I’ll be visiting this new Chestertown website, doesn’t appeal to me at all and I’m not sure that I understand just how to use it.
HC Jones says
I think the new site is fantastic. Congrats

When checking out the new site I noticed under the “Wayne Gilchrest Trail” that it was mentioned that Chestertown plans to construct an extension to the trail. This extension that runs parallel to High Street is now near completion. Trees that have been planted should be beautiful when Spring arrives.
