Guitarist Camilo Carrara, vocalist Sue Matthews and bassist Paul Langosch captivated the audience at “Foolish Hearts,” the April 25 benefit for the National Music Festival. They performed songs from Matthews and Carrara’s recently released CD of the same name. Hors d’oeuvres were provided by Occasions Catering and wine by Crow Vineyard. The event was held at the Garfield Center for the Arts at the Prince Theatre. After intermission, Mayor Chris Cerino had the audience laughing as he spoke about the Festival and the benefits it brings to Chestertown. The proceeds of the event supported the National Music Festival’s Apprentice Scholarship Program.
